In 1798, Napoleon Bonaparte embarked on an expedition to Egypt, to investigate and catalogue the secrets of the Pharaohs, which had lain buried in the sands for thousands of years. In the vicinity of ancient Thebes, the interior chamber of untouched ancient royal tomb was broached, and within it was found a mummy of great beauty. On the breast of the mummy, over the heart, was found a long papyrus scroll, with beautiful hieroglyphics painted on it.
